Englewood Shooting Wounds Man, 23, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 23-year-old man was shot and wounded in Englewood early Friday, police said.

At 2:17 a.m., the man was in the 6500 block of South Wentworth Avenue when he was shot in his hand, police said.

The man walked into University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition, police said.

The man was uncooperative and refused to say what happened, police said.

No one was in custody.
