CHICAGO — A 43-year-old man was shot and wounded in Brighton Park on Thursday afternoon, police said.
At 4:10 p.m., the man was on the sidewalk in the 3000 block of West 38th Place when a car drove up and someone inside fired shots, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man was hit in his right calf and was taken to St. Anthony Hospital in good condition, Lemmon said.
No one was in custody.
