ROGERS PARK — Two teenagers were shot and wounded while walking in Rogers Park Monday evening, police said.

The teens, 15 and 17, were walking in the 2100 block of West Fargo Avenue near Howard Street when someone shot at them from a red SUV, according to a police incident report.

The younger boy was shot in his lower back, and the older teen was shot in his upper back, police said.

Both were brought to St. Francis Hospital, police said. Police could not provide their conditions but said they were both "stable."

Police said both teens are documented gang members.
