BRIGHTON PARK — A 22-year-old man was found dead after an apparent homicide on the Southwest Side early Monday afternoon, police said.
At 1:26 p.m., officers found the man lying in a driveway in the 4500 block of South Whipple Street with an open wound in his chest, according to Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.
Police could not immediately confirm whether the man had been shot or stabbed, Quaid said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Enrique Morales, of the same block.
No one is in custody, police said.
