AUSTIN — An Austin shooting left a man wounded Monday, police said.
At 10:05 a.m., a 30 year-old man was walking in the 300 block of South Central Avenue when a man emerged from a dark-colored van and fired shots, said Sgt. Cindy Guerra, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man, who was shot in the shoulder, was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, Guerra said.
No further information is available at this time, police said.
