CHICAGO — A Mount Greenwood man has been charged in a series of Far South Side burglaries, officials said.

Michael Urban, 30, of the 10600 block of South Ridgeway Avenue, has been charged with four counts of burglary and theft, police said. Urban's charge stems from a "pattern of burglaries" in Mount Greenwood, Ald. Matthew O'Shea (19th) wrote in a newsletter.

"As always, I would like to thank the Chicago Police Department for their efforts in this matter," O'Shea wrote.
