CHICAGO — A shooting in Back of the Yards left two women wounded early Saturday, police said.
At 2 a.m., the women were on the street in the 4700 block of South Laflin Street when a gray minivan pulled up and someone inside fired shots at them, police said.
A 26-year-old woman was hit in her back and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said. A 31-year-old woman had her left shoulder grazed by a bullet and she refused medical attention.
The shooting appeared to be gang-related, police said.
No one was in custody.
