By Kelly Bauer | September 3, 2016 4:13pm

CHICAGO — A stabbing in Austin left a 57-year-old man critically wounded on Saturday morning, police said.

At 9:15 a.m., the man got into an argument with another man in the 4800 block of West Fulton Street, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman. The other man took out a knife and stabbed the victim several times in his stomach and arm.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, Quaid said. The man who had stabbed him drove off in a small, white car.

The victim appeared to have been intoxicated, police said.

No one was in custody.
