NORTH LAWNDALE — A 34-year-old man died Monday after being shot multiple times in North Lawndale, police said.
At 5:15 p.m., the man was in the 3600 block of West 13th Street when another man walked up and shot at him before running east on 13th Street then south on Central Park Avenue, according to a police report.
The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Police said the man was a documented gang member.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Raheem Gray, of the 3600 block of West Douglas Boulevard.
No one is in custody, police said.
