CHICAGO — A fire in Back of the Yards left two people dead early Saturday, officials said.
About 12:40 a.m., Chicago Police and Fire were called to a house fire in the 5400 block of South Laflin Street, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman. Two adults were found unresponsive in the home.
Another person was taken to Stroger Hospital for unknown injuries sustained during the fire, Estrada said.
