DUNNING — The end of summer won't mean you won't be able to keep enjoying vegetables with a cheesecake chaser.
The farmers market at Eli's Cheesecake, 6701 W. Forest Preserve Drive, will continue into the fall after a successful summer season, organizers said.
The fall market, featuring produce from Nichol's Farm and Orchard, will take place from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays from Sept. 1 through Oct. 27, organizers said.
A free continental breakfast is available from 8-10 a.m. for those who spend $5 or more at the market, organizers said.
A Pokemon Go-inspired cheesecake decorating contest set to take place from 2-3:30 p.m. Sept. 2 and from noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 3.
Participants can create edible Pokemon and enter them into Eli’s Social Media #PokeCake challenge. The $2 entry fee will be donated to the Sunshine Activity Center, which teaches developmentally disabled adults life-enhancing skills and hobbies, organizers said.
