NORTH LAWNDALE — A 24-year-old man died after being shot in North Lawndale early Sunday morning, police said.

At 12:05 a.m., a man went to his home in the 3700 block of West Grenshaw Street after being shot in his chest somewhere else, according to a police incident report. A family member then called 911.
