LOGAN SQUARE — A 20-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Logan Square Saturday night, police said.

At 8:12 p.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 2700 block of North Harding Avenue when someone shot at him from a passing car, according to Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was shot in his head and pronounced dead on scene, Tannehill said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Mario Mojica-Rios, of the 4000 block of West Nelson Street.

Police said the man was a documented gang member.
