CHICAGO — It should be a cool, mostly dry weekend — but rain could delay the start of the Air & Water Show.

There will be morning storms on Saturday that should clear up for the afternoon, said AccuWeather meteorologist Tony Zartman. There might be lingering rain showers until 1 or 2 p.m., he said.

Those storms could be an issue for the Air & Water Show, which runs 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The rest of the weekend will be cool and dry: Chicago will see a high temperature of just 74 degrees Sunday, which is low for this time of year, Zartman said. No storms are expected and there will be a breeze throughout the afternoon.

Most of Sunday will be partly sunny and breezy.
