CHICAGO — A 32-year-old man was shot Wednesday night in Back of the Yards, police said.
At 9:30 p.m., the man was driving in the 1500 block of West 48th Street when shots were fired, police said.
The man was hit in the head. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
The man is a documented gang member, police said.
