Hermosa Shooting Leaves Man Critically Wounded, Police Say

HERMOSA — A 24-year-old man was critically wounded after being shot in his chest in Hermosa Tuesday evening, police said.

The man was shot in the 4000 block of West Armitage Avenue, according to Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, Sweeney said.

Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting.
