Aaron Marquise Brown, 21, Killed In North Lawndale Shooting, Officials Say

NORTH LAWNDALE — Aaron Marquise Brown, 21, died hours after being found shot in his back in North Lawndale on Tuesday, officials said.

At 3:57 a.m., officers found Brown lying in the 3800 block of West Roosevelt Road in North Lawndale with a gunshot wound in his back, according to a police report.

Brown was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.

Brown, of the 3300 block of West Madison, was pronounced dead at 4:49 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died of a gunshot wound in his torso in a homicide.

No one is in custody, police said.
