CHICAGO — Johnathan Stewart, 17, was shot to death in Englewood on Friday night, police said.
At 10:15 p.m., the teen was in the 700 block of West 66th Place when he was shot during a possible drive-by, police said. He was hit in his chest and right leg.
Stewart was taken to St. Bernard Hospital and was pronounced dead, police said.
Stewart, of suburban Country Club Hills, was pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m., according to Cook County Medical Examiner's records.
Stewart was a documented gang member, police said.
No one was in custody.
