Auburn Gresham Shooting Wounds Man, 20, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 20-year-old man was shot and wounded in Auburn Gresham on Saturday, police said.

At 12:39 p.m., the man was in the 8700 block of South Sangamon Street when he was shot in his left leg, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man took himself to Little Company of Mary Hospital, but information on his condition was not immediately available, Tannehill said.

No one was in custody in the shooting.
