CHICAGO — A 19-year-old man was shot and wounded in Humboldt Park late Thursday, police said.
At 11:25 p.m., officers responding to a call of shots fired found the man wounded by gunfire in the 3900 block of West Thomas Street, police said.
The man had been hit in his groin and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. His condition was not available, but he was listed as "stable," police said.
The man is a documented gang member, police said.
