CHICAGO — A shooting in Back of the Yards left a 25-year-old man wounded on Thursday night, police said.
At 7:45 p.m., the man was sitting in front of a home in the 5100 block of South Wood Street when he heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The man was hit in his foot. He took himself to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was in good condition, Estrada said.
No one was in custody.
