CHICAGO — Stephon Triplett, 22, was shot dead Wednesday night in West Pullman, authorities said.
At 10:20 p.m., officers responding to a call of shots fired found Triplett lying in the parkway in the 12400 block of South Lowe Avenue, police said. Triplett had been shot in the head.
Triplett was taken to Roseland Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Triplett, of the 12400 block of South Emerald Avenue, was pronounced dead at 11:13 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one is in custody.
