'Chicago P.D.' Filming in Uptown So Watch Where You Park

UPTOWN — The "Chicago P.D." crew will be policing Uptown this week, so watch where you park for the next few days.

The award-winning NBC drama will be filming scenes for its fourth season along Broadway on Thursday and Friday, according to a release from Universal Television LLC.

"In order to park the necessary vehicles and equipment" for the filming "No Parking" signs will be posted from 9 a.m. Thursday through 2 a.m. Saturday along the following streets:

• Both sides of Broadway from Leland to Lawrence avenues

• Both sides of Racine from Leland Avenue to Broadway

• The south side of Lawrence from Magnolia to Kenmore avenues

• Both sides of Magnolia from Leland to Lawrence 

From 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday and Friday, there will be full closures along Broadway, from Lawrence to Wilson avenues, and Racine Avenue, from Leland Avenue to Broadway, the release said.

"We are working closely with the Chicago Film Office and the Chicago Police Department to ensure a safe and positive filming experience. We look forward to filming in your neighborhood and thank you in advance for your cooperation," the release said.

"Chicago P.D." season four premieres Sept. 21 on NBC.
