CHICAGO — A South Loop bank was robbed Wednesday afternoon, but a suspect has been caught, officials said.

At 4:30 p.m., First American Bank, 1241 S. Wabash Ave., was robbed by a man, according to Bandit Tracker. The man was caught and taken into custody, officials said.

The man, 55, was black and thin, according to Bandit Tracker. He wore a fake beard, sunglasses, a white fisherman's hat, dress pants, a white button-down shirt and a suit jacket.
