HUMBOLDT PARK — A 17-year-old was shot in his leg while at home in Humboldt Park early Wednesday morning, police said.

At 12:01 a.m., the teen was in the residence in the 3500 block of West Pierce Avenue when someone in the street fired a shot through a window, according to a police incident report.

The boy was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound in his leg, police said. Police could not provide his condition but said he was "stable."

No one is in custody, police said.
