NORTH LAWNDALE — A 28-year-old man was shot to death in North Lawndale Monday evening, police said.
At 9:24 p.m., the man was driving in the 3500 block of West Grenshaw Street when he heard gunshots and felt pain, according to a police incident report.
The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition after being shot in his left arm, torso and back, police said. He was later pronounced dead.
No one is in custody, Gaines said.
