CHICAGO — A shooting in Back of the Yards left a 17-year-old wounded on Thursday afternoon, police said.
At 4:30 p.m., the teen was in the 4600 block of South Halsted Street when he was shot in his left leg, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The teen was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.
No one was in custody.
