EDGEWATER — Over 20 live performances are set for the stages at this year's EdgeFest celebration on North Broadway in Edgewater.
Now in its fifth year, the neighborhood street festival will have live entertainment throughout the festival, which runs from noon-10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday on Broadway between Thorndale and Ardmore Avenues.
A $5 donation to the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce, who puts on the annual event, is requested upon entrance, which also includes a community discount card.
Between a North and South stage, the event will also showcase nearly two dozen acts, ranging from the local Joel Hall Dancers to favorite Chicago music acts like 16 Candles, 7th Heaven, Todd Tuffcurls and the Bench Press, Syd Smith and more.
