BEVERLY — The Ridge Historical Society is seeking donations of home goods, housewares, tools, jewelry and books for its annual fundraiser.

The society's Great Annual Garage and Book Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. at 10621 S. Seeley Ave. in Beverly. The fundraiser will wrap up from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 2.

All donations are tax deductible and proceeds are used for neighborhood preservation efforts as well as the society's historical research projects. Donations of clothing will not be accepted, and volunteers are also needed to work at the sale.
