UPTOWN — The Lincoln District will celebrate National Night Out at Margate Park Tuesday evening.

From 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the nation-wide event will bring local authorities, leaders and citizens together to talk about crime and keeping the neighborhood safe at the park at 4921 N. Marine Dr.

The event will include entertainment and activities for children, food, refreshments, raffles and yoga.

National Night Out "is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live," according to organizers of the nationwide event.
