CHICAGO — Two shootings in Logan Square early Sunday wounded two men, according to police.

The most recent attack happened at 3:40 a.m. Sunday in the 2400 block of North Western Avenue, when a 28-year-old man was shot, police said.

The man was driving eastbound on Fullerton Avenue when he came to a stop at Western and a black SUV pulled alongside and someone inside began firing, police said.

He was struck in the right arm and was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where his condition was not released but police considered him to be "stable." The man is a documented gang member, police said.

At 1:25 a.m. Sunday, a 34-year-old man was shot in the 2000 block of North Kedzie Avenue in Logan Square, police said.

The man had gotten into an argument with someone he knew before he was shot in the face, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.

No arrests have been made in either case, police said.
