CHICAGO — A speed bump flipped a car during a Lakeview accident on Saturday morning.

Neighor Dominic Bardele posted photos of the accident to Facebook, saying it happened in front of Burley Elementary School, 1630 W. Barry Ave. He was walking by when he saw the car at 8:20 a.m., he told DNAinfo Chicago.

"The tow truck drivers were saying that the guy was telling them, 'My car is fine. I can drive it home,'" Bardele said.

It appeared that the car had caught the tire of a nearby Jeep, sending the Jeep into a Saturn and damaging the cars, during the accident, Bardele said.

But the speed bump shouldn't have been an issue, Bardele said. He said he drives frequently in the city and doesn't think that speed bump is too high.

"That's not like a horrible speed bump," Bardele said. "That's a pretty reasonable one. And it's in front of Burley Elementary School, so they need them there."
