Demarius Roseman, 17, Shot To Death In South Chicago, Officials Say

CHICAGO — Demarius Roseman, 17, was shot to death in South Chicago late Thursday, officials said.

At 10:40 p.m., the teen was in the 8000 block of South Escanaba Avenue when a man walked out of a vacant lot and shot at Roseman, police said.

The teen was taken to South Shore Hospital in serious condition, police said. He was later pronounced dead.

The teen was identified as Roseman, of the 6800 block of South Sangamon, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. Roseman was pronounced dead at 11:05 p.m.

No one was in custody.
