PORTAGE PARK — Five Portage Park homes have been burglarized during the day and early evening in recent weeks, police warned.
The incidents happened in the:
• 3700 block of north Lamon Avenue between noon July 16 and and 1 a.m. July 16
• 5100 block of west Waveland Avenue between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. July 18
• 5000 block of west Grace Street at 5 p.m. July 20
• 3200 block of north Lockwood Avenue between 10:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. July 22
• 5200 block of west Henderson Street at 10:43 a.m. July 28.
The burglars entered the homes and apartments through doors and windows and took electronics, jewelry and cash, police said.
