St. Gabe's Family Fest Coming Back To Canaryville

CANARYVILLE — Family Fest is coming back to the neighborhood Friday.

St. Gabriel will host the annual two-day festival at 4500 S. Wallace, running from 6-11 p.m. on Friday and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, DJ “Lizzie Beats” Martin will play music from 6-8 p.m. From 8-11 p.m. the Bleedin’ Fingers Jam Band takes over.

Adult raffles will be held throughout the night. A kids raffle table will be open from 6-9 p.m.

On Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., there will be four giant jumping jacks, two water slides and games for the kids. Bracelets for the inflatables are $20, and game tickets are three for $1.

A special 4:30 p.m. Mass will honor members of the U.S. military and first responders.

Rock band Second Wind will start their set at 1 p.m. and Run Forrest Run, a top '90s cover band, takes the stage at 7 p.m.

There will be a $50 raffle drawing Saturday night. The grand prize is $10,000, the second prize is $5,000 and the third prize is $1,000.
