PORTAGE PARK — The Chicago Shakespeare Theater will bring one of William Shakespeare's best-loved plays to life at Wilson Park Saturday and Sunday as part of the Shakespeare in the Parks performance series.

A specially equipped truck will roll into Frank J. Wilson Park, 4630 N. Milwaukee Ave., and unfold a stage, and then a troupe of actors will bring "Twelfth Night," Shakespeare's "jubilant, music-infused romantic comedy," to life, organizers with the Chicago Shakespeare Theater said.

The 75-minute performances are scheduled to take place 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday.

The ensemble cast features Ronald Conner, Dominic Conti, Donovan Diaz, Lydia Berger Gray, Juan Villa, Nik Kmiecik, Garrett Lutz, Will Mobley, Neal Moeller, Andrea San Miguel, Nate Santana and Jonathan Weir, organizers said.

The Chicago Shakespeare Co. is touring the show across the city until Aug. 14, stopping at 19 parks along the way.

The play is free, and performances will take place rain or shine.
