UPTOWN — Voice of the People will host a block party featuring a basketball tournament, breakdancing and a live performance from Back In The Dayz in Uptown at the end of the month.
From noon-5 p.m. July 30, the Uptown Open Street Party, which is a free event, will take over the 4400 block of North Magnolia Avenue, according to a press release.
Along with the youth five-on-five basketball tournament, which will take place on the courts at Billy Broncho Playlot, attendees will also be treated to live performances by Back In The Dayz, Elephant Rebellion and the Brickheadz Crew.
The event will also have fitness demos, zumba lessons, refreshments and a bounce house.
