Englewood Shooting Critically Wounds Man, 24, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting early Thursday in Englewood left a 24-year-old man wounded, police said.

At 12:06 a.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 7300 block of South Morgan Street when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

The man was hit in the neck and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.
