Chatham Shooting Wounds Man, 20, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 20-year-old man was shot and wounded Wednesday night in Chatham, police said.

At 9:45 p.m., the man was a passenger in a sedan in the 8300 block of South Ingleside Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

The man was hit in the buttocks and right calf. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody in the shooting.
