JEFFERSON PARK — The Prussing Elementary Local School Council is looking to fill a vacant seat.
The council, which is in charge of the school's budget, rules and selecting the principal every four years, is looking for a parent representative, member Michelle Rodriquez Taylor said.
Parent representatives must have a student enrolled at Prussing Elementary, and cannot be an employee of the Chicago Board of Education.
The deadline to apply to serve as a parent representative is Aug. 8. Interested candidates should download a candidate packet, available online, to the school's office, 4650 N. Menard Ave.
