CHICAGO — A 15-year-old boy was shot in a North Lawndale drive-by attack Thursday evening, according to police.

The teen was outside in the 1300 block of South Homan Avenue at 5:45 p.m. when someone in a passing car opened fire, police said.

He was struck in his back and the teen managed to get himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not released but police considered him to be stable.

No arrests have been made.
