CHICAGO — Police are looking for the owners of more that $1 million in stolen goods recovered by investigators.
Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said officers broke up a stolen construction equipment ring. Photos shared by Guglielmi and police show hundreds of items were found, including bicycles, snow blowers, ladders and lawn mowers.
Those who think their items are among the stolen goods should go to viewings 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at the 15th District station, 5701 W. Madison Ave. Attendees should bring an ID, copy of a police report, proof of purchase and any additional evidence they have, like videos or photos.
