WICKER PARK — Nine luxury loft apartments are on track to open by the end of summer in the former Central Furniture Mart building, according to a website that's marketing the units for "pre-leasing."

Expected to be ready in September, the building will offer three- and four-bedroom lofts with rent ranging from $4,250 to $5,000 monthly.

There are also two retail spots on the ground level currently for rent, according to a listing.

The apartments will feature "clean lines, open spaces, soaring ceilings and dramatic oversized windows," and kitchens, bathrooms and living areas that offer "high-end finishes that redefine urban luxury living," says Standard & Partners, a firm that's arranging showings of the units.

Located at 1348-1352 N. Milwaukee Ave., the vintage three-story building was sold in July 2014.

Neighbored by Antique Taco and MildBlend Supply Co., the property at the southwest corner of Wood Street and Milwaukee Avenue was initially set to host Punch Bowl Social, though the entertainment complex abandoned that plan last summer.
