SOUTH LOOP- A teen was wounded in a shooting in the South Loop on Sunday, police said.

At 10:45 p.m., a 15-year-old boy was walking in the first block of West Cermak Road when he heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The teen, who was shot in his foot, checked himself into University of Chicago's Comer's Children Hospital, Lemmon said.

No other information on the shooting is available, Lemmon said.
