DUNNING — Watch Matt Damon try to get home after being stranded on Mars during the Chicago Park District's Movies in the Parks series.
After Damon's character is presumed dead after a fierce storm on Mars, he struggles to survive with only a meager amount of supplies. Meanwhile, his crew tries to bring him home.
Moviegoers can bring a blanket and a picnic basket to watch current and classic flicks for free during the series.

"Hotel Transylvania" — 8:30 p.m. July 14 at Portage Park, 4100 N. Long Ave.
"Ferris Bueller's Day Off" — 8:15 p.m. July 17 at Hiawatha Park, 8029 W. Forest Preserve Drive, Dunning
"The SpongeBob Square Pants Movie" — 8:15 p.m. July 21 at Wildwood Park, 6950 N. Hiawatha Ave., Dunning.
