BEVERLY — The Chicago Shakespeare Theater will perform "Twelfth Night" from 6:30-8 p.m. on July 19 and 20 at Ridge Park.

It is free to attend the live show at 9625 S. Longwood Drive in Beverly, which is part of the Chicago's Shakespeare 400 festival honoring the British playwright's 400th birthday.

The city-wide performances are meant to bring cultural events to the neighborhood level, as well as serve as a way for the community to promote healthy activities in the parks, Mayor Rahm Emanuel said upon announcing program.

Performances of Shakespeare's plays have taken place in neighborhood parks for the last four years. As for "Twelfth Night," the park district describes the 75-minute romantic comedy as a story of, "mistaken identity and unlikely love."

For more information, visit Ridge Park's website or call 312-747-6640.
