ENGLEWOOD — A 34-year-old man was in serious condition after being shot in Englewood early Wednesday, police said.

At 4:03 a.m., the man was sitting in a car in the 7300 block of South Union Avenue when a man with dreadlocks wearing a blue hoodie walked up and shot at his car, according to Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was brought to Stroger Hospital with gunshot wounds in his back and arm, Amezaga said.

No one is in custody, police said.
