BEVERLY — The Chicago Public Library's Beverly branch will host a community book giveaway from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 5.
All children enrolled in the Rahm's Readers Summer Learning Challenge can choose up to 12 books to bring home from the library at 1962 W. 95th St., according to Arlene Gottardo, the children's librarian in Beverly.
Children will also be able to enroll in the summer reading program on the day of the giveaway, Gottardo said in an email.
