BACK OF THE YARDS — A stabbing in Back of the Yards left Matusalem Dominguez-Gutierrez dead early Tuesday, officials said.
Officers found Dominguez-Gutierrez about 1:15 a.m. in the 1700 block of West 51st Street after he had "bled out" from multiple wounds in his leg, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
Dominguez-Gutierrez, 30, of the 1700 block of West 51st Street, was identified in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. He was pronounced dead at 1:37 a.m. An autopsy showed he died of a stab wound in his thigh in a homicide.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Amezaga said.
No one is in custody, police said.
