CHICAGO — Two men and a teenager were shot in North Lawndale Sunday afternoon, according to police.

The group was walking in the 1200 block of South Troy Street at 2:40 p.m. Sunday when shots rang out, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

A 17-year-old was shot in his groin and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition, Tannehill said.

A 22-year-old man was struck in the left knee and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, Tannehill said. A 20-year-old man was shot in his right foot and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, she said.

All three are documented gang members, according to police.
